Native Coral Tooth (Hericium coralloides) Thanks to @samwisegandy for letting me take a sample, @lancefieldchristopher and @bristolfungarium for making a successful clone as well. I grew this alongside the commercial M9530 variant from Mycelia.be.
A trip up to Leicestershire last night to take a sample of the incredibly rare Hericium coralloides, or Coral tooth fungus. There were three football size fruiting bodies high up in a dying Ash tree. This fungus has been fruiting yearly for 30+ years

Fantastic day out with Fred Gillam on his secret sunday mushroom foraging group. A huge amount of winter chanterelles, amethyst deceivers, trooping funnel and more to enjoy, as well as improving my knowledge of wild mushrooms.

Yellow oyster (Pleurotus citrinopileatus) and Split gill (Schizophyllum communem) cohabiting on a beech block. It should be Yellow oyster, but I didn't wash the scoop between batches and hadn't realised how aggressive Split gill is from a tiny residu
